Volunteers in Action

These photos capture the essence of Scott Valley Fire's volunteers. We work hard, we play, we have parties, and we help our neighbors. We run TOWARDS fires, not away. We drive big trucks (very cool!), We toss candy from our very cool trucks to kids at parades. We join strike teams to help fight fires throughout the state of California. And we grieve together and honor our members who have passed on.

Many thanks to Mel Fechter for so many of the fine photos seen throughout this website.
