Three Independent fire departments serve Scott Valley:

1.      Scott Valley Fire Protection District serves the 840 square miles of Scott Valley.

2.      Fort Jones Fire serves the City of Fort Jones.

3.      Etna Fire Dept serves the City of Etna.

Scott Valley Fire, Etna Fire, Fort Jones Fire, the United States Forest Service and CAL-Fire have mutual aid and automatic aid agreements, and they often respond together. If you live outside the city limits of Fort Jones or Etna, then Scott Valley Fire is your local fire department. Scott Valley’s stations are located at
